We love providing our service to the Bradford Royal Infirmary, and indeed everyone who listens online. To enable us to continue this service, we of course need funds for the day to day costs, licenses, equipment, etc. Would you consider donating even a small amount to us to help us continue? Whatever your contribution, we ensure it will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. We would love to raise £750 to invest straight back into the running of the radio. Can you help?
These are challenging times, so even if you can’t donate directly, remember there are other ways to help us raise funds. Could you share this post? Invite your neighbours to listen in? Amazon also offer donations to us via their “Smile” scheme. Use the following link when buying on Amazon, and Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase value to us! https://smile.amazon.co.uk/ch/508017-0
Thank you for your support. I’ve included further information about us below.
Radio Royal is a Registered Charity, established in 1952. Our aims are to provide a personal radio service to the patients of the Bradford Royal Infirmary and to enhance their wellbeing during their stay in hospital. We do this by visiting them at their bedside, and if they wish, playing their choice of music over the bedside radio. We also provide programmes specially tailored to patients’ needs, giving local and hospital information. We provide 24 Hours of live and pre recorded programmes 7 days per week in addition to providing health promotion and information for the patients of Bradford Royal Infirmary. We can also promote local charities and forthcoming local events. For more information, please contact the studio on 01274 364917 or visit www.radioroyal.co.uk or if you are in the hospital, call free from Patientline *800
